The DTI "Threats and Opportunities" Tour to China

Date : January 2006
Author:  CDA Africa

The CDA Africa has been liaising with the Beijing Axis and the DTI to put together a tour to investigate the threats and opportunities from China for our industry sector.

The tour would take place over 8 days and a series of meetings would be arranged by the Beijing Axis to suit the industry and products of each delegate.

The tour would be partially subsidised by the DTI and 3 members of the DTI will accompany the industry members.

Indicative net costs of the tour would be R30 000.00 per delegate inclusive of the DTI subsidy. A maximum of 11 delegates can be accommodated. Preference will be given to supporting members and thereafter on a first come basis.

If you are interested in participating in the tour, please advise Gordon Grant as soon as possible.

A 50% deposit (R15 000.00) per delegate would be requested as soon as the details have been finalised. There are forms that have to be completed by the individual delegates and returned to the DTI by no later than the end of 2nd week January 2006 in order to comply with the DTI requirements.
